The MIRL 17-900 with reflector uses an anti-reflective (AR) coated silicon window that is robust and not affected by moisture. Our AR-coated silicon window is inexpensive and has high transmission at wavelengths greater than 2.5 μm.

With a parabolic reflecting optical element, the on-axis output of the MIRL 17-900 pulsed infrared light source is increased by 10x – 12x at distances in the range 20mm to 100mm.
