The MIRL 17-900 reflector Sapphire window is highly IR transparent and it has a wide spectrum range up to a wavelength of 6μm. The window is tough and scratch resistant; ideal for high pressure, high temperature applications and where corrosive atmospheres are a factor.

With a parabolic reflecting optical element, the on-axis output of the MIRL 17-900 pulsed infrared light source is increased by 10x – 12x at distances in the range 20mm to 100mm.
